  • A deposit (the cost of the evysor) is taken before it is sent, on returning this the deposit is refunded less the hire charge of £22. The hire charge is for the period of 10 days.
  • However, if you decide after your trial you wish to purchase there is no hire charge, we will send you out a new one in your choice of colour once the trial pair are returned. If you change your mind on the colour there may be an additional cost to pay (for example if you trial a transparent but wish to purchase the mirror version) or we may need to refund you the price difference depending on what you decide.
  • We will only send a new evysor once the hire pair are returned back to us and are deemed to be in original condition. It is extremely important that you take good care of this item while it is on hire - as with any sunglasses they are susceptible to scratching. Please do not leave your horse alone with this evysor on. Any damage will be assessed and associated costs applied.
  • We recommend sending the evysor back to us via a tracked and signed for service - we can not accept responsibility for any loss during transit back to us if you use your own courier. You can choose to use our returns service which is chargeable.  More details of this are available once the returns process is started.

Terms & Conditions:

STANDARD UK DELIVERY

Delivered within 3-5 working days. However, we do aim for within 48hrs.

NEXT DAY UK DELIVERY

NEXT WORKING DAY on orders placed before 12pm (midday) on a week day. Orders placed after 12pm will be counted as the following "working day" and processed accordingly.  Eg. next day on orders placed after 12pm on a Monday will be delivered on Wednesday.  Our Next Day service does not include weekends. 

SATURDAY/SUNDAY UK DELIVERY

This service can be selected on any day of the week, however the cut off date for weekend delivery is by 12pm (midday) on the Friday of that week. 

WORLDWIDE DELIVERY

We provide a fast, affordable, and tracked worldwide delivery service mostly using Fedex, DPD, DHL and UPS. 

Orders shipped to Europe typically take between 3-7 days.

For the rest of the world 5-10 days is a typical time frame.

DELIVERY ON BESPOKE/PERSONALISED ITEMS OR ANY ITEM WE NEED TO ORDER IN FROM OUR SUPPLIERS 

For "Special Order" item/s an estimate of how long it will take to reach us is displayed on the product page, and on your order confirmation.

Please note this is an estimate based on average lead times, and is therefore not a guarantee.

At times it may be shorter, and unfortunately longer (for instance, according to the time of year, manufacturing delays, and global issues outside of our control).  We will endeavour to update you if there are any delays as soon as we can.  

Once an item has been manufactured and received by us we will ship the item out according to the shipping service requested on the order.  If you require a faster service you can always upgrade this at any time between placing your order and dispatch of the order.


INSURANCE

The Yard Equine Ltd insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have  specified delivery be a safe place, neighbour, or a different delivery address, then you accept responsibility for the item at that point, and fulfilment by The Yard Equine, and transfer responsibility in the same way.

TAXES & DUTIES

  • UK VAT is applied to all VAT-applicable orders dispatched within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
  • We do not charge VAT on Childrens' products
  • We are not responsible for any import duties & taxes that might be applied outside of the UK.
  • If a product is returned to us due to the non-payment of any duties & taxes, any associated costs incurred by The Yard Equine will be deducted from your refund, including outbound and return postage. There is also a £15 3rd Party Return Charge on all parcels from the EU which have been refused due to non-payment of customs duties and taxes.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You will be sent an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched with tracking information. 

You must inform us within 2 days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit.  If you do not do so we deem you to have accepted the goods. To do this please visit our Returns Centre here. We strongly advise you take good quality photographic evidence immediately if damage has occurred.

You agree that proof of delivery by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

During sale time, Christmas & Bank Holiday periods delivery may take longer. If an item is urgently required we suggest you select next day delivery option at checkout.

1. You must notify us that you wish to return or exchange goods within 14 days of receiving your order. All returns must be received by us within a further 14 days of you notifying us. To do so please visit our online Returns Centre here and follow the instructions. Please note that we can not accept return requests made after the initial 14 day period (during the Christmas period this is extended - further details below) and can not accept unauthorised returns. 

2. Items must be returned to us in "as new" condition which means they must:

  • be unused 
  • unsoiled
  • unscented
  • in the original packaging and condition
  • have all original tags intact
  • be properly secured within the original packaging which must be in "as new" condition 

3. On inspection of a returned item, if any of the above apply, then we will notify you immediately and any items will either be returned back to you or we will make a deduction for damage/cleaning as we see appropriate depending on the condition/circumstances.

4. Upon receipt of items that have been returned & deemed to be in an acceptable condition, then we will endeavor to issue you a full refund (please note where you have chosen to use our returns courier service then the cost of the return delivery will be deducted), or send the alternative if an exchange was requested.  Only where it can be proved that an item is faulty will original delivery charges be refunded. A postage fee will be charged for all exchanges.

5. Please allow enough time to ensure the goods arrive to us within 14 days of notifying of us of your wish to return or exchange an item. We strongly advise all returns are sent via a tracked and signed delivery as we can not be held responsible for items lost in the post. 

6. Exchanges can be made for a different size or colour of the same product but are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Your replacement item(s) will be sent to you on receipt of the original item(s) being returned. If an item has been reduced in price there will be no credit.

ITEMS NOT COVERED:

Bepoke/Made To Measure/Made to Order items are not eligible for a refund unless faulty. Similarly, we are unable to cancel an item that is being "made to order" once the manufacturer has commenced. 

Safety helmets - because of the nature of the product unfortunately we can not offer refunds, unless the item is unworn (it may be tried on for fit but not "used" or handled in a way that may compromise the integrity of the item e.g. to ride or to handle horses). If there is a sizing issue this can be very easily rectified therefore please contact us immediately and we will happily advise/discuss exchanging the interior liner or supplying foam strips to adjust the fit for you. If you wanting to return your helmet for other reasons then you must inform us within 3 days of having received the item.  Returns or refunds are not accepted for custom made helmets or helmets made to order unless they are faulty, and underwear foy hygiene reasons

*CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY - PLEASE NOTE ALL PURCHASES MADE BETWEEN THE 1ST AND 20TH DECEMBER ARE SUBJECT TO AN EXTENDED RETURNS POLICY OF 28 DAYS. THIS MEANS YOU HAVE 28 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER TO REQUEST A RETURN AND A FURTHER 14 DAYS TO RETURN THE ITEM/S FROM THE DATE THE RETURN WAS REQUESTED.
